Just tried the update again as it seemed wise to have the latest prog.
I thought perhaps it was a temporary glitch causes by an incompatibility between a windows update and the latest Avast free.Īnd assumed that this would be fixed in time by either Microsoft or Avast. So I did a system restore to roll back to just before I did the update. A few weeks ago, in addition to updating the virus definitions, it invited me to update the core program.
